ABOUT PROMENTORS PROJECT
This is an Erasmus+ three year project that aims to expand the successful MIT models (Multiplayer Induction Team) that was developed in the PROTEACH ERASMUS+ project. The MIT models will serve as a basis for a new model of training for mentors that is carried out by teacher-training academic colleges in Israel.

Dr. Rhonda Sofer
Rhonda Sofer is an applied anthropologist and an expert in designing and implementing international educational programs. She is the Director of the International Center at Gordon Academic College of Education located in Haifa, Israel.

Anat Kessler
Anat Kessler
Anat Kessler is head of the internship program at Kaye College Induction Unit. She is a facilitator of internship courses, and a pedagogical instructor at the special education training program. She is also a doctoral student at Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Dr. Marta Buk-Cegiełka
Dr. Marta Buk-Cegiełka
Researcher at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, specializes in teacher training for pre-school, elementary and primary education. She also conducts research into integral development of children in early childhood.

Matti Pennanen
Matti Pennanen
Works as a project researcher at the Finnish institute for Educational Research, University of Jyväskylä. His research interests are focused on teachers’ professional development and collaborative practices in the Finnish education system. Pennanen is finalizing his doctoral studies to Faculty of Education
and anticipates to defend his thesis in 2020.

Ihab is a senior Lecturer, PhD in Clinical and Health Psychology. Coordinator of Mentors and Beginning Teachers at Sakhnin College, where he also serves as a researcher and lecturer in a Special Education Department, Educational Counseling and Learning Disabilities Departments.

Dr. Anna Szudra-Barszcz
Dr. Anna Szudra-Barszcz
Researcher at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, specializes in philosophy of education, educational ethics, ethical aspects of special pedagogy. Involved in the activities for people with ASD.

Dr. Safieh Hassonah-Arafat
Dr. Safieh Hassonah-Arafat
The head of Porsim Kanaf Unit and The internship coordinator at the Arab Academic Institute forEducation in Beit-Berl Academic College. Researcher at the College team in the ProMentors Project.

Dr. Lidia Pietruszka
Dr. Lidia Pietruszka
Researcher at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin. Her main research interests focus on the issues of social orphan-hood, foster parenting, preventive and compensatory measures undertaken for children whose development is at risk, as well as social work and social assistance. She works also as a student teacher internship supervisor.

Dr. Ainat Guberman
Dr. Ainat Guberman
The Head of the Research Authority at The MOFET Institute in Tel Aviv, Israel. She is a lecturer at David Yellin Academic College of Education, as well as in the Department of Education at the Hebrew University, both located in Jerusalem, Israel. Her main fields of interest are teacher educators’ professional development as well as cognitive development in early childhood.

Dr. Iwona Szewczak
Researcher at John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin, specializes in in the theory of upbringing (anthropological, axiological and teleological basics). She is a Principal Coordinator of internship at the Faculty of Social Sciences.

Malka Zinker
Malka Zinker
Malka, has a M.A. in Mentoring Teachers from Haifa University. She is a pedagogical advisor and a member of the academic teaching faculty of the English Department at Gordon Academic College of Education. In addition, Malka is a leading pedagogical advisor in the special Academic Peer program (Amit Academia) at Gordon College.

Dr. Sara Ziv
Dr. Sara Ziv
The founder of The MOFET Institute. From 1992 until 2007, she served as Director of the Department of Teacher Education at the Israel’s Ministry of Education. She holds a Ph.D. in Practicum in Teacher Education from The Hebrew University of Jerusalem and a second Ph.D. in Hebrew Literature from The Center for Yiddish Studies at the Bar Ilan University.

Dr. Haya Kaplan
Haya Kaplan (PhD) is a Senior Lecturer at Kaye Academic College of Education. She is the head of Kaye Induction Unit and the head of the Center for Motivation and Self Determination. She is also the head of the Educational Counseling M.Ed program in the College and manager of the PROMENTOR team at Kaye College.

The Head of Educational- counseling M.Ed. Program in Beit-Berl Academic College. Manager of the College team in the ProMentors Project.

Huwaida Alatawna-Alhuashla
Huwaida Alatawna-Alhuashla
A lecturer at Kaye College, facilitator of internship and mentoring courses, and coordinator of a leadership program for excelling Bedouin students. She is also the manager of the Lakiya MIT and coordinator of towns MITs at Kaye Induction Unit. Huwaida is a certified educational counselor and a graduate student at Ben Gurion University of the Negev.

Dr. Haneen Magadlah
An educator, social worker, and social activist. Holds a bachelor’s degree in social work and a master’s degree in non-profit management, and Phd degree all from the Hebrew University of Jerusalem. She holds a teaching certificate in psychology and sociology from the Hebrew University’s school of
education,.

Dr. Idit Pasternak
Idit Pasternak is head of the Induction Unit and lecturer at Talpiot College in Holon. Main interests in research – New teachers and their integration into teaching.

Dr. Iman Garra-Alloush
Dr. Iman Garra-Alloush
Iman Garra-Alloush is Students’ Dean at alQasemi Academy, lecturer in the English department and a pedagogical advisor and internship mentor. Her areas of research are Sociolinguistics, Comparative Literature (English vs Arabic), and EFL in higher education and education colleges (including teacher education)

Dr. Aleksandra Borowicz
Dr. Aleksandra Borowicz
Researcher at the John Paul II Catholic University of Lublin; specializes in the methodology of auditory and language education of deaf and hard of hearing children; conducts research among teachers regarding their openness and preparation for inclusive education; consultant in the project of creating a model of centers supporting inclusive education; sign language lecturer and cued speech method instructor.
